Satyendar More

Satyendra More was the founder of the Mumbai Rehwasi Sangh, a slum dwellers organisation of the Communist Party of India(Marxist) active in Mumbai. He authored booklets like- The Housing Problem and The Dalit and Communist Movement. During his earalier years he was also a member of the Lal Bavta Kala Pathak led by Shahir Annabhau Sathe and Shahir Amar Sheikh and also helped his father in starting Jeevanmarg, which became the weekly organ of the CPI(M) Maharashtra state committee. In the year 1978 he won as a MLA from the Dharavi constituency.
