Police Strike (1982)

In the 1980's there were a series of strikes by the Bombay Police constabulary mainly to demand right to association and better working and housing conditions. In August 1982, a major strike of the entire Bombay police constabulary began on August 15th, when a group led by the Maharashtra Police Rajya Sangathna's SD Mohite wore black badges after the flag hoisting.
