Lotus Colony

Lotus Colony, located next to Shivaji Nagar, Govandi houses the residents of a slum colony that was located behind the Lotus Cinema at Worli Naka that was gutted in a fire in the year 1963. Later the residents were shifted to Govandi by BMC and the name Lotus travelled with them as they became residents who had come from the slum behind the Lotus Cinema.
