Bori Bunder

Bori Bunder was constructed by blasting rocks and shoals in the year 1852 before which it was a small landing place for boats. When the G. I. P. Railway was being constructed, all the rails and machinery from England were landed at the Bunder which is in the vicinity of the present day CST Railway station, first built in the year 1853 and called Bori Bunder Station In 1887 it was replaced by the present large building and was named Victoria Terminus.
