Arvind Adarkar

Arvind Adarkar was an architect, teacher, and humanist who influenced a number of students and institutions across the city of Mumbai, until his death in 2013.

Here [1] he can be seen in a co-presentation with PK Das in Sangharsh Nagar, Goregaon, where people from Sanjay Gandhi Nagar in Cuffe Parade were moved to in the early 1980s. The recording was made on November 24, 1991. Subtle differences between him and PK Das can be noted, which carry into their later approaches to similar questions in Mumbai.

Since 1975, Adarkar ran Adarkar Associates an architectural practice, with Neera Adarkar and Arun Kale.
