Bombaywiki:About

Bombaywiki is an online collection of material related to a people's history of Bombay/Mumbai, initiated by Nicolai. It is currently cared for by Bandraplot, Raftarwala, campbot, Mohite and Samudra, who are self-taught historians and digital archivists of the city. Their individual contributions to this website (which uses similar software as Wikipedia) can be seen by clicking the History button on any page.

We encourage subjective accounts, oral sources, opinions, stories etc. that Wikipedia discourages. We also encourage use of media such as scanned print materials, audio and video.
