Suresh Dhotre

Suresh Dhotre, member of the dalit-republic movement is resident of Ambedkar Society, Khar. In the year 1991 he established the Shravast Sanskrit Manch and through constructed a statue of Dr. Ambedkar at the Ambedkar Road in Khar in the year 1994. He has also authored books including 'Nagputra Chi Gauravghata', Raigad Zillatil Boudh Leni' and 'Bandratil Ambedkri Bara Phakhadicha Ithaas'. Bandratil Bara Phakhadi book details out an interesting ambedkarite history of Bandra suburb contrary to the popular catholic origins of the same.
