One of the very first woman journalist to cover political beat and has been writing as a journalist now for more than 50 years. Started her stint as a journalist with Anand Bazaar Patrika and then moved to The Asian Age. She wrote the column 'Garibi Hatao: My Bare Foot' for many years in weekly Blitz.
