Kohinoor Mill was owned by NTC and has three units (Unit 1,2 and 3)and the Unit 3 spread across 4.8acres was sold in the year 2005 for Rs 421 crore in the year 2013. It was bought by Manohar Joshi and Raj Thackeray and IL & FS. Poet Narayan Surve worked in Unit No 3 as a Winder.
